Requiem Mass in D Minor, K. 626: VII. Lacrimosa by Mozart
I remember that in one of my trips to Europe, I put on the entire Requiem by Mozart, and the volume was stuck too high and at a certain point it felt just too scary. It was the night-time (whatever hour it is when you go across the globe) and I was the only one wide-awake listening to a hymn of death. And then besides the volume stuck too high, I couldn’t for the life of me change the music… right on time when it gets scarier to think we could run out of gas and crash and die.
